This Intervention is provided to assist individuals to understand and use personalized AAC systems to optimize communication activities and participation. An AAC system is any combination of devices, aids, techniques, symbols, and/or strategies to represent and/or augment spoken and/or written language or to provide an alternative mode of communication to better support in daily living, achieving goals and gaining independence. Telehealth Speech TherapyVivir Speech Pathologists can undertake online speech therapy session. The process is simple and easy. You will be provided with a link to gain access to your appointment remotely. You can then connect to your Speech Pathologist via your computer, tablet or phone. Your session will be delivered in real-time, just as it would in a face-to-face consultation. Your Speech Therapist will provide assessment and intervention with a variety of engaging strategies and interactive consultation. Perfect for you if you have a busy schedule, concerned about current health warnings, or if you live within an under-served location (i.e., rural and remote). | |
