Accreditation & Pain Management

All of our clinicians are trained in aged care accreditation standards and ACFI optimisation. This reassures our aged care facilities that they will meet necessary government requirements for each resident’s pain management funding.

What our clinicians offer

Our services support our clients in maintaining their accreditation, optimising ACFI validation and providing holistic quality clinical care. This means:

  • Holistic pain management focused on clinical outcomes

  • Assessments and care plans to support ACFI funding

  • ACFI funding maximisation

Support for ACFI Accreditation

Our Support Team will be available every step of the way with operational, administrative and legal resources available. For ACFI accreditation support this includes:

  • Pre-validation support

  • On-site presence during validation

  • Post-validation support as and when required

  • Continuity of care – focus on retention of staff will be critical to achieving 80 minutes of treatment

  • Adequate resourcing to cover unplanned and planned leave

Scheduling Support

Another benefit Vivir offers is a robust scheduling system and support team to ensure smooth operations.  Our scheduling support includes:

  • Accurately scheduling times and tasks

  • Routinely emailing detailed rosters in advance to facilities

  • Recording times and units for each treatment provided (for reporting and ACFI compliance)

WHAT IS ACFI?

The Aged Care Funding Instrument (ACFI) - Ensuring residents needs are accurately assessed by the ACFI model is essential for facilities to be capable of providing the best possible care. That is why all of our clinicians are trained in aged care accreditation standards and ACFI optimisation.
