Physiotherapist - Regional casual opportunity

Vivir Healthcare is recruiting for a Regional Physiotherapist to support our aged care facilities on a casual basis.

This exciting role will give the suitable clinician the opportunity to travel QLD and enjoy Sunny coastal towns such as Hervey Bay and Cairns or perhaps spend a fortnight in Toowoomba and Bundaberg. You will primarily be based Metro and offered regular casual hours close to home however flexible to travel to locations throughout QLD to cover leave, sickness, locum cover.

Travel and accommodation will be provided. This is also a great opportunity for those looking to relocate and unsure of locations, with over 500 facilities serviced by Vivir and a workforce over 700 clinicians we can offer work Australia wide!

Duties:

• Aged Care - Assessments, Care plan development, Regular evaluation and incident analysis, Care plan modification and progression, In-service education
• Physiotherapy treatments and assessments
• Exercise prescription and the formulation of care plans
• Implementation of a pain management clinic
• Correspondence with residents, families, nursing, medical practitioners, allied health practitioners and equipment suppliers
• Facilitation of falls prevention workshops, manual handling and other staff education

Essential Criteria:

• Bachelor Degree in Physiotherapy
• Current AHPRA registration
• Have flexibility to travel and available at short notice
• Experienced in aged care preferred but not essential
• Have a passion for improving the lives of your clients!!
