New Grad Program:

  • Are assigned a Team Leader or Senior Clinician to guide them through their new graduate year and program.
  • Are offered a buddy shift, complete an onsite induction and ongoing support through the year. Additional support by Team Leader/Senior Clinician is available and tailored to an individual's needs.
  • Are offered the opportunity to complete a shadow shift before coming on board with Vivir to experience clinical work in residential aged care setting
  • $1,000 program completion bonus

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Aged Care - Assessments, Care plan development, Regular evaluation and incident analysis, Care plan modification and progression, In-service education
  • Physiotherapy treatments and assessments
  • Exercise prescription and the formulation of care plans
  • Implementation of a pain management clinic
  • Correspondence with residents, families, nursing, medical practitioners, allied health practitioners and equipment suppliers
  • Facilitation of falls prevention workshops, manual handling and other staff education
  • Provide supervision to LRPs and New Graduates
  • Carry out site audits

Skills and Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor of Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy OR an equivalent recognised internationally
  • Full AHPRA Registration
  • Car (preferred)
  • Appropriate working visas
  • A National Police Certificate
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Previous leadership experience highly preferred
