Occupational Therapist - Toowoomba, QLD

Vivir is currently seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide quality clinical services to aged care residents in Toowoomba, QLD on a permanent Full-time basis.

Salary:
$65,000 - $75,000 per annum

As part of your responsibilities will be expected to carry out the following:

• Aged Care - Assessments, Care plan development, Regular evaluation and incident analysis, Care plan modification and progression, In-service education
• Physiotherapy treatments and assessments
• Exercise prescription and the formulation of care plans
• Implementation of a pain management clinic
• Correspondence with residents, families, nursing, medical practitioners, allied health practitioners and equipment suppliers
• Facilitation of falls prevention workshops, manual handling and other staff education

To be considered:

• Have a Bachelor Degree as an Occupational Therapist
• Hold Full General AHPRA registration
• Experience in aged care preferred but not essential
• Demonstrate high level quality clinical care
• Have a passion for delivering superior service and making lives better
• Be flexible and adaptable to changes in aged care
